What Clients Are Saying
“Having Dee as our Doula was the best decision we made in an effort to have a natural birth.” - Nicola
“I cannot overemphasize just how important Dee was in making this labour the beautiful positive experience I missed out on with the first birth.
Her support, knowledge, and wonderful company were invaluable. The highest recommendation of her skill is that I am now recommending that friends pregnant with their first children consider getting doulas as well (and hopefully Dee!).” - Ellen Tang
“My husband was really grateful to have Dee’s support during the labour.” - Ellen
“I was instantly comfortable with Dee, and felt like I could trust her. Her manner was warm and knowledgeable, and as I got to know her better over the next few meetings I felt safe knowing that she would be there to guide my birth and to look after me” — Ellen
About me
With many years working in the corporate world, advocating for women in leadership and helping people navigate change, I’ve found my way back to a path that feels most meaningful to me: being alongside women and families as they prepare for and welcome new life.
Being Irish and living in Sydney away from family, I know how important it is to have support around you. Whether you’re far from home or not, having that network and community makes a difference, and it’s something I’m passionate about helping others create.
I have a deep compassion for the emotional journey of pregnancy and the importance of feeling safe, supported, and heard. I’ve seen, both personally and as a Doula, the transformative power of knowledge, preparation, and emotional support in shaping birth experiences.
I trained with the Australian Doula College in birth and postnatal care around 10 years ago, inspired by my own experiences bringing my two daughters into the world in 2010 and 2012. The incredible guidance and support I received from my midwife, during my first birth showed me just how life-changing compassionate care can be, and the contrast of not having it the second time made me realise how vital it is.
I worked with several clients after qualifying, but with young children, the demands of being a doula on-call weren’t sustainable. I made the tough decision to pause my doula work and focus on my family and other career.
I naturally gravitate toward mentoring, supporting, and empowering women to thrive at work. Recently, I completed a postgrad in Creative Intelligence and Innovation at UTS, which reignited my passion for finding more creative, impactful ways to support women.
I’m now bringing together my transdisciplinary combination of doula training, lived motherhood experience, coaching, and creativity to create a space tailored for professional women, offering a holistic range of birth, postpartum, and personal support services that empower women at every stage of their journey.
